With kids comes favourite movies that they must have and then that pile gets added to every once in a while or, at least, every month. I hear you. Here is what I have done for my siblings. Fewer DVDs taking up space in your entertainment center. This will also help if you live in an apartment with kids because it will leave less space for other things you may want to display.
I bought this CD case from Walmart. I can't remember the price but it was in and around $10-15 dollars. As soon as I saw it I knew what I wanted to do with it. I took all my sibling's DVD and this is what I decided to do with them.
It is simple to do. Here is how I made it. First choose the DVD, then take the cover insert out and cut the page with the movie title on it.
Next, you want to cut the picture so you can still see the title of the movie and possibly the main character as well. For the first time, you cut this you can also continue to slide the paper in the CD case slot so that you can cut to the right size.
After you have found the right size of the CD case slot, slide the paper in. If you're doing more than one right now, it's better to use the one you made as a guide for the rest of the DVDs that you are going to cut out.
Lastly, add the DVD disc to the back of the paper.
Sometimes DVD's have a second disc with bonus materials or just a second disc. If so, you can put the second disc beside the paper like this.
Now your kids DVDs or your DVDs fit nicely in this stylish case.
If you have a DVD player in your vehicle, this is an easy way to grab to put in your car for long trips or a ride to the store. I hope this helps.
