Bedroom TV/Book Wall Reveal

IKEA Bedroom TV Book Wall

I think I made you wait long enough, the bedroom TV/Book Wall plan is ready to be revealed. I love how it all turned out. It was looking a little crowded over there for a while but couldn’t think of how to make it more airy. Now I feel like the space can breath. I think I really gave this section life again.

I had these furniture pieces before from IKEA and rearranged it onto my wall in a way that I can store the books (I don’t read), the movies (I have but no longer watch over and over again), many binders, notebooks (filled with creative thoughts and plays and stories.) and important paper section. If you missed my planning for this section, you can check it out here.

The IKEA shelves fit nicely next to the dresser. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and it is the same length of my wall. I like the dark grey next to the dark brown of the dresser and the pop of blue at the top that ties all the blue on the shelves. It also directs your eye to the middle section.

I used two painted IKEA Spice racks flipped over are a nice addition to this section. I will show you more of how I accomplished this TV stand soon. So stop by to check that project out.
Next to the color blue, I love leopard. Placing my DVDs and Wii games into these cute leopard baskets gives your eyes a break from only seeing blue.
I also moved these blue glass holders from my desk to the sides of TV stand creating a smaller version of balance in the section.
I didn’t want to only store my books on the shelves but add little things I have made along with gifts to add a decor touch to it.

A simple thing I did to make the top shelf looking a lot cleaner was to turn the file holder around so instead of having it show all the files in it, it not looks neat having it facing the other direction.

This section now helps me organize all that I need. Bringing in both book section and entertainment section together on one wall.
