I am kicking 2015 with a whole new fresh new look launch. It was time! This blog needed to step up more and really showcase what I was looking for. A new fresh look was my goal for 2015 and I am so happy to launch it. Did it take an extreme amount of hours? Yes. Did it take learning new things? Yes. Did it take leaning as I go? Yes. It probably didn't help that I had a few days to get my blog from 2014 to 2015. I was going to wait but the stubbornness inside me was determine to have this new blog template done by January 1st 2015. My clock was counting down. However my goal was accomplished because look at the blog now. So worth the late nights.
As you can tell I was struggling for a while to really find a template design that truly fit me or what I was looking. I had the imagination and idea of what I was looking for but it did not turn exactly the way I wanted. I was close to what I wanted but not where I liked it to be. This whole code stuff of the making of websites or blogs was like reading a different language. Very overwhelming at first glance. There is div this and div that then many many more along with numbers all going down the page. If I did not take the time to learn code (computer talk) then I wouldn't know a thing.
This course from Code Academy really helped me understand what all the code meant and how it brings the overall big picture together. It says it takes about five minutes to finish the course but you can stop and continue as long as you want. It teaches you how to make a website and more. Even learning those basics you can learn how to really customize your blog or website. It was the needed push to get me fired up for this new look. I found this amazing template but didn't know how to do anything with it then this week I found this one and knew right away how I can make this my own.
At the end, I am so proud of how everything turned out. You can find new pages and stylish blog design. Your blog posts will still be coming your way but on a whole new design. What a fantastic way to start the new year! So what are you waiting for go take a tour around and tell me, what do you think?
