Be Kind to One Another – My Story

Be Kind to One Another - My Story #BeKindToOneAnother | City of Creative Dreams

As I mention before, something happened to me and my son last week. We were shopping at Superstore, it had been a long shopping day since I was shopping for two families. I was just in the kids clothing section to find my little man some new underwear because I decided to stop using pull ups so while I was in search for them I saw this hat that was super cute and decided to put it on my little man’s head to take a picture.

I hadn’t decided to buy yet, I was actually in a debating mode on if I should stick to my list or buy this $12 hat. While taking a picture, a nice lady complimented on how cute the hat was on him. I said thank you, we chatted a little and then she asked “Are you planning on buying the hat for him?“. At the point of time I hadn’t decided yet and told her just that. Then she said, “Do you mind if I buy this hat for him.

Of course, my first reaction was to say “You don’t have to” and she gladly said “I know I don’t have to but I want to.” She bought it the hat for my little man, we chatted for some time and exchanged numbers. I found out she even gave her students her computer to borrow.

Final Thoughts

It is moments like this that reminds you that there are some truly amazing people out there and of course I want to pass that along. It takes one kind gesture or a simple positive wording to brighten someone’s day. It can even be something as simple as being kind to one another. Get out there and do just that.

I hope you have some time, I would love to hear from you. Leave a comment to say how much you enjoyed my post or even say hi, follow me on TwitterFacebookGoogle+PinterestInstagram page or even subscribe. I will do the same! Have a wonderfully creative week!

  1. What a sweet story!! And what a cutie-pie little boy you have! I like to pay for the car behind me when I'm in the Starbucks drive through. Someone did that for me at Christmas time a few years ago, so now I try to do it when it isn't a holiday! Dona

    1. Aww, thank you Dona! That is so sweet of you to do that for others! I am sure it makes you feel awesome to give.
