I am getting my paint on! I haven't painted in so long. Where is the time! However, I found these incredible, small canvas and convinced myself to get to painting. I am no Picasso but if you give me some paint, a canvas, and a stencil then we all can feel like an artist of that level. I bought these for less than $2.00 at... you guessed it Michaels Craft Store. I am naturally attracted to things fabulous at this store at an incredibly low price. What can I say, I love crafting!
This project, in particular, is a gift for my aunt's place as a gift while I stayed there for a month. She loves cheetah print as much as I do or even more so I thought why not give the bare wall in her bedroom some sparkle and shine and cheetah print.
It from the Made Market collection. Originally, cost around $4.99.
I was sad that a lot the larger canvas was sold out but figured the 6in x 6in would do as well.
I also bought paint (Decor Art Metallics Gold) and a paint brush.
As for the stencil, I used FolkArt® Stencil1® Laser Stencils, Animal Print Set. I only wanted to one cheetah print one (it's totally my style) but will find use for the others one day. You never know with me.
After I had repeated using the stencil and the paint on three more canvas, I let it dry. It doesn't take that long to dry believe me. This was done and on the wall in less than 10 minutes, that is including the painting portion of the craft.
I hope you have some time, I would love to hear from you. Leave a comment to say how much you enjoyed my post or even say hi, follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram page or even subscribe. I will do the same! Have a wonderfully creative week!
