The Best Songs for a Broken Heart

The Best Songs for a Broken Heart | City of Creative Dreams

Can I be real with you? Like a 100%, deep and honest for a second of your time. Have you ever been heartbroken before? Crazy question, right? You might be saying, okay where are you going with this? Don’t worry I won’t bore you with the details of mine, however, I will share what gets me through… Music!

There is something incredible about hearing a melody and words sung with the deep raw emotion of pain just like yours. It is as if, that person knows exactly how you feel, how you are truly feeling at this moment and time. Almost like they are standing in your shoes because let’s face it apart from the name, gender and the reason why… we have all sat in the same seat. It hurts more than words can explain and sting for a long time.

So if you are in that situation right this minute and need a good list of music to get your cry on or just want to hear music that speaks your soul then you have come to the right place.

Final Thoughts

I can’t even tell you the number of times I have left these songs on repeat. Can I hear it again? Can I hear it one more time? Okay, I am just going to repeat this because I want you to tell me again, I want you to sing my feelings one more time or a hundred times until I feel better or until I cannot sing anymore. It is so incredibly releasing.

Lastly, my goal for this post was not to make you feel worse about your situation, music heals the heart and I wanted to share what songs helped me heal my heart over the years.
