It’s that time of the season that I love the most, when TV rains new fall TV shows premieres. It is candy to my everything. I get very invested really quick and overwhelm my DVR with way too many shows but I can’t help it. I have to watch! I want to see what is new out there and explore other shows that capture my attention and that tests the boundaries. Yes, maybe make me cry a little or make my stomach hurt from laughing. Most importantly, not predictable. I don’t want to know what is going to happen next. I want SUSPENSE of not knowing. (I told you that I get very invested)
Before you go thinking that I get paid to tell you the shows I want to watch. I don’t. HA, if I did that would be awesome but like I said, I don’t. (insert sad face emoji here if you please) What is a typical fall TV show premiere in my place? Snacks are a must however, it is mostly about the enjoyment of the show. I am honest and cut throat. If you don’t capture my attention at the first episode, I rarely give a second chance. I usually give a show a second episode if I am on the fence. Sometimes that is where it gets good. But I like a show like I like food, it has to be enjoyable. Alright enough about food, let’s see what shows peaked my interest this year but first what has been cancelled.
Shows That Have Been Cancelled
It is always sad to see a show you love being cancelled. Sometimes, we see it coming because there is better ones out there and some had their run and the story just could not continue anymore. Whatever the reason is, here is the list that you won’t be seeing on the TV.

Some of my favourite shows are on this list and I had a moment to be bummed about it. So to all those who are sad about your shows coming to a stop, I am sorry for your loss. I feel for you. Don’t worry because I have some new shows that can fill that empty space on your DVR.
Top Interesting TV Worthy Shows to Check Out This Fall
If you love Big Bang Theory and you love Sheldon’s wit and comedic remarks then you will love Young Sheldon. It is a comedy about Sheldon in his childhood. See his normal family and how he interacts with schoolmates. Sometimes it is good to be smart! You know that this is going to be funny! I could say more but, the trailer does a pretty good job at that.
The Good Doctor is about a genius young autistic surgeon that has a chance to work in a hospital. It’s a drama of what he goes through but how the world views him even. As a person who knows friends with autism and has family with it I am happy to see such a character on TV. It is a strong show with a strong message that I personally can’t wait to watch unfold. There was something about Wisdom of the Crowd that caught my attention. It is different from any show that is out there right now. We have seen this type before but not really like this. This show is about introducing a way of solving crime using technology that we walk around with and cameras from the street. Basically, reminding us that big brother is always watching but let’s use it to help people and kick butt solving crime with it.
Fall New TV Show Premiere 2017-2018 Calendar
I usually make these calendars for my family since, they tend to ask me “Shanice, what day does this show premiere?” or “what new shows are you watching this fall?” or “what time does this come on?“. So, to stay organize I usually place all this information onto our family calendar or even make a gigantic list on my site and send the link. This year, I thought why not take a step further and just create a printable for them to simply print or to look at on their phones.
