7 Tips To Organize The Best Bachelor Party Ever | City of Creative Dreams

Bachelor parties are meant to celebrate manhood, male friendship, youth, and freedom. I am not sure how all of these are usually narrowed down to drinking in a strip bar, but for some reason they are. Luckily, guys have slowly started stepping away from this. It is not about things that, while in a marriage, a wife will not let you do, but also about those things that you particularly enjoy doing with your boys.

Planning

Regardless of what you end up doing, a good plan is the key to an excellent party. These parties have started stepping out of an evening-night concept and are turning into entire days of fun with your friends. First of all, figure out whether the groom wants to have one and what date would suit him the best. If you are confident enough that you can make the right choice, do not ask him about his wishes, but consult your knowledge and other guys participating, to get the ideas. One thing you can ask him is who to invite. Personally, I think that the closer the group the better and easier. If budget is an issue, set one to suit everyone’s pocket. Based on things you want to do and the location, research to find out the price for accommodation and activities.

Run to the hills

There is nothing traditionally manlier than hunting. If this is something you think your group would be interested in then do it by all means. A thing you should be careful about is that these parties usually involve drinking and that alcohol and weapons are really not safe when combined. Perhaps you can combine it with a camping trip and lay off booze until you are back at the camp. There will be plenty of time for drinking while you are sitting around the fire, staring at the night sky and playing a game of dare. Fishing, on the other hand, is quite safe and a bit less active. It can also be a part of your camping trip, perhaps better suited for the next day if you are doing a weekend thing. It is nice and peaceful, perfect for your hangover if you have been drinking the previous night.

Find water

As much as it can be relaxing, water can also be extremely exciting. Use it to have a one-of-a-kind adventure. Looking at the previous paragraph, if you are a group which truly enjoys fishing, you can rent a fishing boat. This experience is quite different to the one of shore-fishing. Alternatively, you could rent jet skis, go sailing or surfing at a perfect location. Sailing requires a lot of teamwork and that is why it is good for a tight group of people. Another nice group activity full of excitement is white-water rafting.  It will get your adrenaline levels through the roof and you will get a unique view of the surrounding nature. Take your friends to the place you used to go swimming and cliff diving as a child, organize a pick-nick or a party there with some food and drinks.

Fly

Here are some more of the adrenaline-stimulating activity ideas. You can involve one of the most beautiful and the scariest dreams there are, those of flying. Luckily, humans have evolved enough to think of the way we can fly and they involve parachuting, skydiving, paragliding or hang gliding. These activities would be somewhat difficult to keep as a surprise as they may involve some preparation. Also, you could opt for bungee-jumping or cave-diving.  Include these activities as a focal point of your visit to an area and feel free to do the regular touristy things for the rest of your time there.

A home party

How about you throw a party of what men usually do when women are not around. You can stay indoors and play video games the entire day. Order food to come to your doorstep and when the night time comes, surprise the groom with a backyard party. Kombi DJ Hire and a mobile bar are some of the quickest ways you can prepare a party outdoors. Organize to have other guys invited to the wedding, join you later in the evening and take the party outside.

Go on an adventure

Adventure can be anything and everything. Here, I am referring to adventure holidays of dangerous hikes, dirt bikes, motorcycle explorations as well as trailing paths of old tribes and some of which have just been open to the public. Alternatively, go on an adventure to explore a city none of you have been to. Depending on where you are from, visit a continent you haven’t been to before. Spend your days getting to know new cities and nights partying like the locals do. Go on a road-trip to visit all the favorite places and get to know the new ones. This type of trip usually includes a greater budget and more time than a day or a weekend.

Stay safe

One of the important points is to stay safe and avoid making certain mistakes. A lot of these activities, or all of them if you do not mind me pointing out, usually involve alcohol. Not the activities themselves but the occasion.  Try staying away from it until you come to a place of safety, such as your camp in paragraph one. Make it your job to pair people up and keep each other safe. All of you should pay attention to the groom, he is the star of the event and you cannot afford to lose him or have him fall asleep.

I’m in charge of planning my best friend’s bachelor party, and I think it’d be fun to take him on a hunting trip, and when the night arrives, we’d visit his favorite pubs, but I’m not sure how to put the plan together. It’s great that you explained how planning a bachelor party with anticipation is key to its success, so I’ll get started right away. Thanks for the advice on bachelor parties and how to choose the budget for ours.
