The Bride
How did I know he was the one? I mean, as crazy as it sounds, I just knew. I believe that I always knew.
I will tell you this, it wasn't just one moment, it was ALL the moments. All the big moments, the small moments and the ones in between.
That time during covid when we couldn't see each other for months was when I really realized how much I missed him. I never wanted to be without him again!
He makes me laugh, he supports me and my dreams, he is really my best friend, he is an excellent dad & the fact that he knows me way too well helps too!

Why I am marrying this girl? As I know there are many questions as to why I am marrying this girl but I can tell you this, there are all many GOOD reasons.
First up, she truly knows what she wants and fights to get it. She constantly pushes me to be the better man that I can be. Though as negative as she is on herself, she always becomes positive when it comes to me.
In the end, she survived putting up with me.

Our Story
Robbie and I met in high school, 13 years ago. Yes, you read that correctly, we meet nearly a decade ago. I can tell you the exact moment that I saw him in grade 10, he was in my drama class for a short time before he switched classes. He was a jokester and what I could say a class clown. We didn't cross paths fully until one day he was with my friends outside of the school office and we introduce ourselves. His first words were "I have a cousin named Shanice" and he never left our friend group since.
Fast forward to becoming friends, dating, going to prom, graduating high school, and then having a son together. We navigated through highs and lows and definitely have come a long way. We filled many pages of our life with many memories.
On Sunday, March 14, (our dating anniversary day) we started a new chapter. What was supposed to be just an anniversary card exchange on my apartment balcony at sunset turned into a moment that would change our lives! The card ended with a dot, dot, dot and before she knew it, he went down on one knee asking her to marry him and well, SHE SAID YES!
It is so meaningful to us to have this private moment to bask in. We sincerely hope we will have the honour to dine, laugh, and dance with you on our wedding day whether that is in-person or virtually. It would mean the world to us for you to continue to be a part of our story.
