I have been baking. Does Chocolate Cupcakes with Melted Hershey's Cookie & Creme sound good? I think so too. I am not usually an icing person on my cupcakes. Sometimes I enjoy it, something I just take off the icing and eat the cupcake. I had one of my friends daughter come over a long time ago and she wanted to know what I was making. I told her cupcakes and she said: "Where is the icing?" I replied with "Oh, I don't have any icing." and she said, "Oh, so you made muffins then." It made me laugh. Naked cupcakes are muffins. So I thought about placing melting white chocolate on top as a form of icing. White chocolate is my favorite if I had to choose. Other than that, chocolate is not my go to. I am more of a candy girl than a chocolate girl. These cupcakes are for my siblings.
I love these cute cupcake holders. I place mine in the pans before even starting.
Here is what you need:
Betty Crocker Chocolate Cake Mix, Vegetable Oil,
Eggs, Water or Milk, Hershey's Cookie & Creme Bar
Pour the cake mix into a bowl.
You will need 1 1/4 cups of water or milk
1/2 cup of Vegetable oil
Put all ingredients into the bowl and stir until everything is mixed together.
Pour now you can pour the mix into the cupcake holders
and place in oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
When done open your Hershey's bar.
Try not to be tempted to eat the chocolate.
Take one out
and pace it on top of the hot baked cupcakes.
Replace the cupcakes into the oven. Don't leave it to long, it is only for the chocolate to melt.
I added a second piece of chocolate to the cupcakes.
I have to admit that I ate a lot of chocolate before making these cupcakes. Chocolate is so addicting. I recommend you use three squares for the top of the cupcake. I find that two and one squares did not cover the entire cupcake top.
Although the chocolate did not melt the way that I imagined. These cupcakes taste fantastic!
