How to make your small closet feel like an organizing queen? Small closets have a sigma to be bad. It doe not have to be. Plus, It doesn’t take to much to organize your small closet. In fact, today I am going to show you how to make your small closet feel so organized that everyone will envy you.

Declutter

I always mention Decluttering because small closets don’t give you the luxury of space. That is the only problem people see which is why decluttering is very important in order to keep your small closet organized. The less stuff you have the most space you have to put out what you actually need.

Shelving

Is not always easy to get good shelving system when you have a small area to work with. If you have a basic small closet, you are most likely working with a one shelf kind of situation. However, if you want most shelving you can always work around that you got. By moving this shelve up and adding your own customize shelving.

Clothes Hanging Rods

If you have that one rod at the top, located right under your shelf than you know it is never enough for your clothing. It’s a fact. You can try your hardest but at most, you can fit all you need for one season at a time. This is why you need additional hanging rods to change things around and to play with your space.

Extra Storage

Like I mentioned before at most you will have space for what is in the season so then what happens to the other amounts of clothes and stuff? Well, you can put it into storage bags or decorative storage boxes within your closet on the shelves. You can even use under the bed storage as well.

Drawers

There are fantastic ways to add drawers to your closet without having to slide an entire dresser inside. I do recommend not putting a huge dresser in a small closet but there are slim ones like the one I bought from IKEA. It fits nicely right in the middle. Deep drawers for sweaters and sheets yet doesn’t take up much room.
