This week has been a little glumly with me catching a cold. I had to throw every trick in the book to get me to at least be able to head to work. If only we could have sick days to take off from parenting, which is a job on its own but when sick it is extra tiring. However, the rain was the nice touch to the week. Some people don’t enjoy rain yet rain to me is beautiful, I enjoy a good rainy day with rainboots and my favorite rain coat. That is the Vancouver gal in me!

So I may be sick with a cold but nothing is sweeter than rain and a favorite snack to make you feel better. Plus a ton of cough drops stashed in my pocket,
