We both know how many diapers a baby can go through in a day or even a week. We don’t dare to think about it any more than a week or our heads will spin lol.

Let me tell you about the product before I give you a few pros and cons.
Pros for the Diaper Genie Pail
Although some are giving it 5 stars for their diaper genie review on the site and I have called this a genie of diapers, there are a few things I love and one thing I didn’t expect at all.
What I love about this product was that I could simply step on the pedal and drop it in. I also loved that it holds a ton of diapers. However and I mean, however, with good things there tends to be at least one bad.
Cons of this Pail
The cons of this product are that it smells bad. I mean, step on the peddle and the smell from the diapers smacks your nose, face and eyes. Not to mention it lingers in the room for a few minutes.
Not what I was expecting from a company advertising that it has “Patent pending double-locked pail design and multi-layer refill seals in odour and germs“. As well as “Anti-microbial protection inhibits odour causing bacteria“.
Final Thoughts
The diaper genie filter helps keeps the smell in but not when the door opens. Yes, the diaper pail holds a ton of diapers but doesn’t necessarily hold in the smell like it says when you open it to put the latest diaper in. All I can say for this Diaper Genie review is that I love the pail but not the smell.
