How to Organize your Garment Drawer

It is time to organize your garment drawer! Stop digging for your garments at the top of your drawers. Do it look like your clothes just exploded and you can’t find a single sock to save your life? I hear you. I mean where do all the socks go?

You may be thinking about your own personal drawer at this very moment, however, I was talking about my siblings. Kids drawers are similar to a toy boy, this is everywhere and sometimes  If you dream of having your kids drawers from completely horrid to organized for at least 24 hours then I have a simple solution to solve that very problem.

Today I am talking about keeping your top drawer organized for your kids. Now I have seen the days where socks are everywhere, underwear is a mess with it. It looks as if a monster went into your kid’s room and made a mess in the drawer. Then you have them saying I can’t find anything, I don’t know where I put it. With school in the morning, moms do not have additional time to be searching for the other pair of a sock. So this is what I have done for my sibling’s top drawer… I don’t know why I haven’t thought about it before.

Here is my Garment Organizing Trick!

I bought four of this drawer size multi-purpose basket (two per top drawer)…
From Dollarama for $2.50
Once the basket is in the drawer, it will now look like this.

Such a huge difference from the drawer before. You can add labels for your kids if you want. I am going to because it makes it easy for kids to know which is which.  This is helping my siblings so much. It’s a simple way to get things organized and now their garments have separate homes and no long swimming in the same ocean. 2. Fabulous idea! I *definitely* need to do something with my kids' drawers…socks and underwear and bathing suits and mittens and dress-up clothes just all kind of end up piled in there together and it drives me nuts.

    1. Thank you Carrie for stopping by and commenting. I hope this helps with all those socks, underwear, bathing suits and more.

  3. I've done this with my kids too. I recycle their shoe boxes and slip them into the drawers. Doing this makes it so much easier for them to just plop their clothes in and still have it somewhat organized. Thanks for sharing on Merry Monday.

    1. I agree, it keeps everything somewhat organized for the most part. Happy that you enjoyed my post!
