You are getting married! There are many reasons why you need to get married in 90 days or even plan a wedding in 90 days. You could be on a visa requirement and only have that amount of time to get married just like the TLC show 90 Day Fiancé. For all, I know you could be on this website because you are on that show and need a little helping hand.

Whatever your reason is for being here right now, it all equals that you don’t have much time but you need to plan a wedding. Just like traditional brides, you have a lot on your plate however you don’t have the luxury of time. You do start with the same common questions brides have such as where do you start? What do you need to do? You are basically taking a normal wedding and condensing it down to 90 days. We have no time to debate if this is crazy or not because there is so much to do.

The first 30 days of planning your wedding are really the foundation keys. You have many things to look at and do around this time such as setting the wedding date. The wedding date decision is critical since you need to filter everything around it such as the catering, venue, and guests. Finding a venue may be a little tougher so you expect only because it is short notice but if you research enough you should be able to find a great venue. If not, you do have other options such as a park, farm or your own home.

Here is your list for the first 30 Days!

  • Wedding Date
  • Wedding Venue
  • Guest List
  • Order Wedding Invitations
  • Choose Attire (Wedding Gown, Bridesmaids, Flower girls, Tuxedos)
  • Book Wedding Photographer
  • Hire Hair Dresser, Makeup Artist
  • Book ceremony, reception music, lighting
  • View caters that are available on your wedding date
  • Register wedding gifts

Time to talk about the second 30 days. This is the time when you should send out your wedding invitations. Best tip, especially for brides like you who have a shorter deadline, is to do their wedding is to do your invitations through email. Not only do you save money, but you also save paper. If you are worried about no one checking their emails, you can let them know about it with social media or even a text or call just so that they can keep an eye out for it.

Another important thing to make sure you get done is to plan your honeymoon. I know, I know more things to do. Yes, that may sound like you already have so much to do but it is beneficial to get that done pronto. You will want to make sure that is all set especially if you are deciding to go away for your honeymoon. Find tickets and hotel prices so that you can go away into the sunset. The last minute can result in a heavy price tag.

Here are more things that need to get done this second set of 30 days.

30 Days before the wedding

It is really down to the wire. You have only 30 days left until your wedding! It’s so exciting and a little nerve-wracking, however, you can do it. You only have a few things left to do and these are really simple things left. One important thing to get done is your wedding vows. Many times couples may forget their vows so having a letter of what you want to say saves you from stage fright or the overwhelming amount of excitement. If you are wondering where to have this letter or note, you can always have your bridesmaid or groomsman hang on to it.
Another important thing you must get done this month is your marriage license paperwork. It is kind of important since it’s the official documents saying that you are indeed getting married. You can say “I do” but without the paperwork, it is only and I do. Paperwork’s job is to prove that you both agree on this marriage and say yes, this is for sure happening. It is just the icing on the cake.

Here are more things that need to get done in 30 days.

  • Finish your wedding vows
  • Finish marriage license paperwork
  • Give final numbers to cater
  • Confirm vendor schedules
  • Final dress fittings. Get your dress accessories (ex. veil or tiara)
  • Pay venue balances
