You are here because you just don’t have the time to plan your wedding. The majority of your time is made up of your work life or family responsibilities. So where do you find the time? Am I right! Why not find out how to best plan your wedding during your lunch break. Most of us may have a half-hour or hour lunch so let’s use this time wisely. I am here to help you out, friend! Here are some tips on how you can use your lunchtime to your benefit.

Research

Look and research potential vendors for your wedding. This will help you narrow down your list or even create your must-have list to share with your fiancé. Scroll through some awesome sites like theknot.com for vendors in your local area that has everything you are looking for. Find one that matches your theme, your headcount and match your wedding dream.

Yes, that may sound cheesy, but you got to find the right vendors for you. Just by doing this on your lunch break, you are on your way girl! Now, you can focus on meeting with your vendors on the weekends or when you have some time.

Pinterest Pinning

It doesn’t have to be all work and no play, my friend! One of the most addicting parts of wedding planning is Pinterest. Now if you have seen my videos on Youtube or read any of my other articles, you will know that I scream out loud how important Pinterest is to your wedding planning. It is not just for recipes or imagining what life can be with a gluten-free dinner. It is all about that wedding inspiration.

Once you start looking at Pinterest as a search engine, your entire look at planning your wedding will be a breeze. Create yourself a Pinterest board that has all the inspiration you need for your wedding. That means you will want to break down your boards into sections to make your life easier. Think about having a dress section, food section and decoration sections so that you are vendor ready.

Wedding Dress Scoping

Most of the wedding planning has to do with research or scrolling through websites. So why not search for your dream dress why you are having your lunch. Use your time to scroll through websites or even set your appointment at a bridal shop. You will be happy you did this ahead of time and have it set in your calendar. Not only would you be able to set your appointment, but you also have some idea of what you want to wear as well. Don’t forget to add it to your Pinterest board.

Song Playlist Planning

Who doesn’t love listening to music? If you are jamming to music while you work then this is the perfect time to have a page open and jot down songs that you want to be played at your wedding. Want some TLC songs? Songs from the year 2000 or more? Listening while you work or just on your lunch break, you are not only having fun dancing in your head, you are also checking off music from your list! Before you know it, your list will be long enough to rock your reception socks off.

Design Your Website

Let’s talk about designing your website. Now don’t freak out when I tell you to design it because even the most non-tech savvy bride can make a wedding website. Sites today make it so easy. You choose your template, add in your information and some pictures. Press publish and you are live my friend. Use sites like theknot.com, wix.com or squarespace.com to get you on the right track. Believe me, it will look like a professional has hand-designed this wedding website for you.

Call Vendors

Use some of your lunch breaks to call vendors. I personally think using my S.C.O.U.T vendor’s method is fantastic when searching for vendors but also for helping you connect with them. When you find the vendors, you want to work with, you can use your lunch breaks to schedule meetings or discuss what you need for your wedding.

Final Thoughts

Time is so limited in your life but why not maximize it by adding wedding planning tasks to your lunch break. You will be amazed by the number of tasks on your list that get completed just because you are rocking it at lunchtime. This will give you some extra time in your evenings to relax… at least much as you can. Now let’s get planning!
