Brewing Bliss: How to Create the Ultimate Coffee Corner at Home

How to Create the Ultimate Coffee Corner at Home | City of Creative Dreams

This one is for my coffee aficionados! Today, I’m excited to talk about what you need to create cozy coffee corners at home. As a non-coffee drinker myself (yes you read that right, I have no shame about it lol) I tend to use this coffee section for the rare occasion I would need to make myself tea.

Am I really the right person to talk about organizing a coffee corner at home? Absolutely! Creating a cozy coffee corner at home is still a form of organizing. Because I am not a seasoned barista or a daily cup of joe kind of gal, it doesn’t mean I haven’t had the pleasure of organizing a coffee station before for the coffee drinkers in my home.

Here are some organizing essentials to help you set up the perfect coffee corner or coffee station:

1. Finding Your Space

The first step in crafting your perfect coffee corner is finding the ideal space. Now there are a variety of ways you can put your coffee corner and one is a corner in your kitchen. However, if you have limited counter space you may want to grab yourself a bar cart that you can use to transform into your very own coffee station. The key is to choose a space that works best for you and your family.

2. Coffee Maker or Espresso Machine Stand

The heart of your coffee corner is obviously the coffee maker or espresso machine. Now choosing a machine that suits your brewing preferences is important as the decision you make will determine your cup of coffee. You have the choice of a classic drip coffee maker, a sleek espresso machine, or a convenient pod-based system.

To maximize your machine space, I recommend getting a sturdy stand for your coffee machine that either has drawers for items or space underneath to put coffee essentials. Here are a few of Amazon’s best-selling coffee machine stands that you will love:

Of course, to know if you like coffee beans, you should try them! Don’t be afraid to invest in high-quality beans from reputable roasters or experiment with different blends to take inventory of what you like.

Lastly, store your coffee in airtight containers to maintain freshness and aroma. There are plenty to choose from that will match your overall style. Here are some Amazon must-haves for your coffee beans:

Of course, no coffee corner is complete without a collection of stylish mugs and glassware, after all, your coffee has to go into something.

Now as much I tell people to declutter mugs that they do not use. I want you to choose mugs that reflect your personal style, whether it’s a classic ceramic or a quirky and colourful mug. Consider having a variety of sizes and shapes to accommodate different coffee drinks, from lattes to espresso shots.

To keep your mugs, travel mugs and even espresso shots organized, you can buy a stand, utilize cabinet shelf space or even underneath your cabinet organizers like hooks so you can grab a cup with ease. I put together a list of best-selling Amazon products that will keep your glassware organized. Here are a few you can consider:

We all like your drinks customized to our preferences so why not enhance your coffee experience with an array of sweeteners and flavourings. Stock up on sugar, honey, and flavoured syrups! Oh, and don’t forget about the essentials like cinnamon, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract.

I don’t know about you but I love adding in organizing containers to elevate the coffee corner at home. There are literally so many to choose from like flavouring pump containers with labels and even honey containers with stirring spoons. Here are some of my favourites:

6. Stirrers and Spoons Must Haves

Keep a selection of stirrers and spoons in arm’s reach for mixing your coffee creations. If you are more eco-friendly you can use options like bamboo or stainless steel, or get creative with vintage teaspoons. Personally, I am all about those gold spoons!
Arrange your chosen spoons or stirrers in a decorative container near your coffee station for easy access. Depending on what style you choose it will also work as functional decor. Here are a few you might like to add to your coffee corner at home:
