This is the ultimate wedding planning checklist! By far this is one of my most popular posts to visit on my site so I thought I would provide an updated one as well. If I haven’t told you before, a wedding checklist will be your best friend during the wedding process. It will help you stay on track when planning your special event. It includes everything from choosing a venue to picking a date to make sure all guests are invited.
I originally created these because weddings are a ball of stress and being organized helps you from going crazy. If you are wondering, I have even used it for my wedding. Here are a few things to get you started on the right foot:
1. Choose a Date

You should choose a date as soon as possible so you can start planning. This will be the number one question that you are going to be asked so you might as well have this in your mind already. If you wait too long, you might not find a proper date at all. This date is going to be crucial when you are planning your wedding as you need it for when you start looking into venues, caterers, florists, photographers, etc.
2. Pick a Theme

Choose one colour scheme and stick with it throughout the entire wedding. For example, if you love blue, then use hints of blue flowers in your centrepieces and decorate everything with that colour in a classy way. Remember you will need a balance so that you are not overwhelming your guests with the colour. The last thing you want to do is change the colours every five minutes because it will end up looking messy and uncoordinated.
