If you want to have the wedding of your dreams and all while saving money then there are a few ways that you can do this. After all, if you are able to cut down even just a couple of your expenses then this could save you thousands in the future and that could make a huge difference to your own financial situation.
Don’t Be Afraid to Call in Favours
Think about it, does your auntie, or anyone else in the family make wonderful cakes? Maybe you have a friend who has a really nice car. Either way, you can’t be afraid to call in a few favours. Tell them that they don’t have to and that you are more than okay if they don’t want to, but by asking them you can be sure to save a ton of money and without worrying about the big day half as much. If everything goes wrong then you can still run to the store to buy a decorative cake just for show, and then invest in a real cake when you get home. When you do this, you can easily make the most out of the money you have.
DIY it
DIY used to mean spending the whole afternoon trying to find cheap items to work with but that is no longer the case. Now you can DIY as much or as little as you want and be trendy for it as well. The main thing that you have to remember here is that you don’t want to go overboard. If you try and do EVERYTHING yourself then this can really cause you to experience more stress than you need. Things like bunting, the cake and even your table decorations can be done yourself. Consider Second-Hand
When you buy a dress, there is a high chance that you will only wear it for a day. For this reason, you may want to consider shopping for a dress that is pre-loved. It is more than possible for you to get the dress of your dreams for a very affordable price and you are only going to wear it once as well. The best thing about shopping for things second-hand is that you can get whatever you want but at a price, you can afford, so if you think about it, you will never have to compromise one thing for another. If you don’t want to buy a second-hand dress then this is completely understandable but if this is the case then you should certainly look at outlets and even warehouses. When you do this, you can easily take advantage of whatever they have available.
Conclusion
So as you can see, there are so many ways that can really save money when you shop and when you put the work in, you would be surprised at how many different ways there are for you to get one item cheaper than you originally thought. If you want to save even more, then consider changing your venue, making your own flower selection or anything else of the sort
