Welcome to 2018 Dreamers! I know this may be a tad bit late. I can’t believe that I have been so excited over a new year that I completely forgot to take a moment to reflect on all the lovely creative memories that I have made over this past year. Best of 2017 time!
What were the best moments of 2017? The best projects, the best DIYs, the best advice and the best recipes (I think I made at least something that year.) We all have something we think is the best from 2017. I know 2017 is so last year but with all my excitement of the ball dropping all shiny and sparkling with a countdown to a new year. Plus, I was building two awesome IKEA dressers before the new year. Then there is the fantastic (no fancy dress required) couch party of watching recorded performances from all the new year’s parties on TV and fast forwarding commercials. A couch party is not a party without snacks and mocktails with lots of bubbles.
Sorry I got a little lost in my flashback there. You get my point, it slipped my mind because I was enjoying some free time of starting a new year. However, I can’t let this month end without taking a quick moment to walk through memory lane of 2017. Eeek! I should have done this like ages ago! Oh well, better late than never, right? Here are a few of my favorite things, projects and/or inspiration of 2017 (aka the best of 2017)!
Best of 2017! – DIY
I have to say that by far my favorite project of 2017 is my flower wall that I created for my littlest sister. It just brings the bedroom some floral delight. Bight and fabulous. I created breakfast tray for my son and I as well. A little paint, stain and adhesive marble and it was on its way! I also enjoyed creating a boxed gift for my friend, essential oil box for storage and my traditional lollipop labels of paw patrol and emojis. Lastly, one of the cutest DIY projects I have made other than the emoji lollipops was the little tins full of Starburst for my little sister.

That’s it! Can you believe it! I have to say I did a lot more than I thought. Boy, did the year just fly by didn’t it? I love going down memory lane with the best of 2017. Yes, I won’t lie, if I don’t do this I tend to forget everything I have done that year. I can’t wait to share more stuff with you, more inspiration, more DIY, more recipes and more wedding explosion. Let’s be real, I need to share way more wedding tips and tricks out there. Don’t worry this new year I got you brides and natural lifestyle lovers! Another year (my fourth year blogging) here with you! Can’t wait.
